Hand-knotted in the 1990s, this rug is like new and in mint condition.  This rug was made with fine craftsmanship, a high knot count and quality wool, and it is a signed piece.  A traditional floral and vine with a central medallion design is beautifully hand-knotted on a midnight blue background and a dark cherry red border with concentric medallions and borders in an incredible array of vivid colors -  cornflower blue, azure blue, sapphire, copper, pink, chartreuse, sea green/teal, gold, orange, cocoa and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The more time you spend with the rug, the more details and colors you see. This rug is made with a sturdy pile and can withstand high traffic.
