This antique Persian Kashan dates to the 1960's and is in mint condition. This Kashan is extremely high quality and woven of Manchester wool (otherwise known as 'kork'), a uniquely high-quality wool. The rug also has a high KPSI (knots per square inch), which is evident in the finely detailed design not only on the front of the rug, but even on the back! This classic Kashan has a cherry red background with a grey border which encompasses a midnight blue border. Ivory, pink, periwinkle blue. burgundy and countless other colors appear in the flowers and the vines. Size: 9'8" x 13'1"
