This is a stunning new handmade Persian Kashan of the finest quality. Hand-knotted and signed by a master weaver, the rug is made from the highest quality wool that comes from the softest parts of the lamb. The pile is as smooth as velvet, thick and sturdy enough to withstand high traffic and to last for generations.  It is handmade with superior craftsmanship and only natural dyes. The traditional floral and medallion design is exquisitely woven in intricate details by hand.  The colors of the rug are what make it truly unique: a mint green background with a sage green border,  adorned with additional details in an array of blues and sophisticated neutrals.  Shades of blue include ocean blue, sky blue, turquoise and a pale slate blue.  The elegant accompanying neutrals include taupe, ivory, camel, mocha, white, tawny and ivory.  The delicate central flower medallion is sky blue and sand, with small flowers and elegant petals and leaves encircling it.  The beautiful floral and vine design radiates out from the medallion in all of these colors in exquisite detail and perfect symmetry.  Floral sprays and bouquets of flowers on the vine dance throughout the mint green open field.  The border is a perfect compliment to the rug, a thick sage green frame with a gorgeous complementary garland of flowers on the vine in all of the same colors, itself framed by bone colored rows of smaller flowers on the vine, which is also where you'll find the weaver's signature.  Size: 8'11"x12'5"
