This is a handmade extremely fine quality vintage traditional Persian Kashan.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is in mint condition with a full pile.  Made with fine quality wool, a high knot count and superior craftsmanship, this rug has exquisite details and unique colors.  A traditional floral and medallion design is intricately woven on a lush crimson red background with concentric medallions and borders in white and unique shades of blue -- violet blue and ice blue. The elegant flowers and vines burst forth in an array of striking spring shades, from turquoise and sky blue to shell pink, peach, orange, gold and olive, walnut, burgundy, lavender, carnation pink and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The bright white accents and borders create a brightness and lightness to this beautiful rug.
