This is a museum piece of exceptional quality.  Known as a "Tree of Life" design, this is a Persian Kashan hand-knotted in the 1940's and in mint condition.  It is woven with natural and vegetable dyes on Manchester wool, an extremely high quality wool and it has a very high KPSI (knots per square inch), as evidenced by the fine detail not only on the front of the rug but also on the back. This is truly a stunning piece of art with exceptional color combinations and designs of flowers, vines and leaves.  Size: 4'4"x6'7"
