Charming handmade antique Persian Karajeh small accent rug. Hand-knotted in the 1940s, this rug is in great condition with some light distress on the corners (see photos) and an even low pile. Corners, bindings and fringe is intact. Multiple geometric medallions are the main design feature with intricate details in vibrant colors that fill the rug and decorate its white border with a floral rainbow of colors. Cherry red is the background for an amazing array of nomadic motifs and medallions in vibrant shades of sapphire, azure, cornflower and periwinkle blue, pink, olive and countless other colors punctuated by black and white.
