Handmade antique Persian Karajeh runner. Hand-knotted in the 1940s, this rug has light distress with low pile in several areas. Geometric medallion design with intricate details and in vibrant colors. Rustic tomato red is the background for amazing nomadic motifs and medallions in vibrant shades of sapphire, azure, peach, moss green, orange, hunter green, and countless other colors punctuated by black and white. The borders are equally densely adorned by matching geometric designs. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Great for high traffic, this runner will last generations. It has no holes, tears or patches and the bindings are all intact. Fringe is fragile.
