This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has spectacularly vibrant colors and is made by hand with fine quality wool and expert craftsmanship.  It has a sturdy, full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The intricate tribal and floral design has a beautiful flower diamond medallion as its focal point with an ivory backdrop against which the saturated shades of ruby pink, purple, silver, plum, lemonade pink and sapphire blue really pop.  The  backdrop of the runner is a beautiful shade of purple, a striking canvas that is filled to the brim with pattern and color in predominantly similar shades of ruby and lemonade pink, silver and plum.  The corners are ruby pink with tribal floral patterns to match the medallion perfectly.  The ivory border really brightens and lightens the runner, and its gorgeous colorful floral and vine pattern adds another layer of depth to the rug's decorative features. There is one area of light distress in the border - see last photo for close up, where a minor repair is visible.
