This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral allover design with charming details and beautiful colors. Handmade in the 1980s, the rug still has a soft and sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The allover design is a geometric lattice-like pattern with highly detailed small floral and tribal motifs.  A rich royal blue provides the backdrop for the lattice-like design in shifting colors and adorned in abundant details in a beautiful array of rustic shades: burnt orange, rosewood, white, charcoal, silver, carnation pink, orange, turquoise, copper, sapphire, azure blue, wine and countless other colors.  The ivory border lightens and brightens the rug, picking up on the white accents and showcases the lovely accent colors with a larger floral and vine pattern, framed by thin rows of red wine with small charming colorful flowers on the vine.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
