This bright and colorful handmade fine quality vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral allover design.  The strawberry backdrop has a lattice-like framework of neutral shades such as sage green, walnut and ivory, around which a rainbow of small tribal and floral motifs are hand-knotted.  It is in mint condition, made with fine quality wool for a notably full, thick and soft pile that is cushy underfoot, can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The allover design of small tribal flowers and other geometric motifs is hand-knotted in lemonade pink, shell pink, hot pink, royal blue, silver, peach, plum, turquoise, coral and countless other colors. The ivory corners lighten the runner and they are hand-knotted with colorful bouquets of geometric flowers.  The border is a particularly decorative element of the rug, with thin rows of pink and gray, peach and blue surrounding an amazing frame of alternating small birds and charming flowers in all of the runner's amazing colors.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
