This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral design in a beautiful color palette of watermelon, ivory and sapphire blue with other colorful accents. It is in mint condition, handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is a flower in full bloom bursting from its ivory background with lemonade pink, steel blue, tangerine, watermelon and black.  These are the colors that continue throughout the runner, adding sapphire blue, dark plum and pale peach, creating intricate floral and tribal details in a lattice-like pattern on a background of watermelon that appears more red from one angle and more pink from another, a natural phenomenon of handmade rugs that use natural dyes and natural wool. The ivory corners  and border echo the medallion and further lighten and brighten the runner.  The corners have tribal flower bouquets and the ivory frame has a larger format garland of  charming flowers on the vine in all the colors of the rug, itself framed by two rosewood pink ribbons of small tribal paisley motifs known as botehs in the same vibrant colors.  Size: 3'6"x9'8"
