This vintage handmade fine quality Persian Hosseinabad runner is in mint condition with a soft and full pile made from fine quality wool.  It is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The small geometric floral and vine motifs revolve around a lattice-like pattern, hand-knotted in the most spectacular array of colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The central flower medallion bursts from the heart of the runner in pink and gray, pale peach, red, orange, sapphire and charcoal, finished off with a thin black edge.  The runner's backdrop is a bright candy apple red, a gorgeous setting for the rainbow of tribal and floral motifs that fill the open field with pattern and color.  All of the medallion colors are used throughout the rug, creating a vibrant garden in full bloom.  The border has a stunning floral and vine motif in bright pink, orange and sapphire against a dramatic back background, creating an elegant finishing touch for this piece.  Size: 3'7"x10'5"
