This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral design in a beautiful color palette of watermelon and sapphire. It is in mint condition, handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is an ivory diamond with a beautiful flower of watermelon, silver, sapphire, peach and plum, with elegant petals, leaves and vines in the same colors adorning the ivory backdrop.  These are the colors that continue throughout the runner, creating intricate floral and tribal details on a background of watermelon, adding shell pink, sky blue, champagne and pale orange to the accents. The ivory corners lighten and brighten the runner with stunning tribal flower details that echo the medallion, while the gorgeous border fills the ivory frame with a series of larger geometric flower and vine designs in the same elegant colors, framed by two thin rows of small tribal paisleys known as botehs.
