This spectacular vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner has a vibrant and playful color way and a wonderful, whimsical tribal and geometric design.  The background is an inky midnight blue and the intricate allover design is knotted by hand in a wide array of bright and happy colors.  Hand-knotted by expert tribal weavers using fine craftsmanship, this runner is in mint condition, made of fine quality wool that has a soft and sturdy pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The small repeating geometric and flower motifs fill this rug to the brim with color and pattern, revolving around a lattice like framework.  Colors include coral, raspberry, rose, ivory, shell pink, turquoise, chartreuse, sapphire, dusty rose, gold, wine, aquamarine and countless others.     All of this is framed by four ivory corners with charming tribal flowers and a fantastic border with six concentric colorful and dazzling layers.  Jagged ribbons of gold, turquoise, raspberry, ivory and wine lead to a beautiful wave-like motif in ivory against pale rose with peach and azure blue geometric repeating motifs. All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.
