This runner dazzles with its seemingly infinite colors and details!  It is a vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner with a geometric and floral design that revolves around a central diamond medallion with matching corners.  Every inch of this rug is bursting with color and detail.   Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug was made with fine craftsmanship and a sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last generations.  The rich and vivid colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The crimson red background is the perfect setting for the finely detailed royal blue geometric medallion and corners with small colorful flowers in mint and sage green, orange, midnight blue, sapphire, bubble gum pink, taupe and countless other colors.  The rest of the runner continues with these same rich colors and intricate tribal and flower motifs.  Additional colors are added to the design such as olive green, coral, turquoise and silver.  The borders are another special feature, beginning with a white row that hosts a charming garland of small colorful flowers on the vine, followed by a thicker frame of royal blue with a colorful repeating geometric motif, and ending with a wine colored edge of small colorful flowers on the vine.
