This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is fine quality, made by expert tribal weavers with quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. The allover tribal and geometric highly detailed design fills the runner with color and pattern, hand-knotted in a surprising array of spectacular colors.  It is in mint condition, made with a full, sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The backdrop is a soft strawberry red, with a repeating lattice-like framework in sage green and mint green, adorned by charming geometric motifs and tribal flowers.  The details unfold in turquoise, orange, shell pink, camel, ivory, white, plum, peach and countless others.  The ivory corners and border are special features of this runner, lightening and brightening the rug and providing a showcase for its brilliant colors against the light backdrop. The corners have a floral design with turquoise, orange, pink and red, while the border uses all of the colors of the rug to create a repeating tribal geometric motif with small botehs (tribal paisleys) on the ivory frame, itself surrounded by plum rows of colorful playful polka dots.  Great for big kitchens, foyers and hallways, bedrooms, children's rooms, and any high traffic areas that are calling out for color. Note the last photo shows that there is slight abrash on one end of the runner. This is the natural v ariation in dyes that occurs with vintage natural dye rugs.
