This is a stunning handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner in mint condition.  The intricate tribal and floral details surround a striking central medallion, a large ivory flower that pops from the raspberry backdrop.   This raspberry and ivory flower at the center radiates petals and other small flowers hand-knotted in a brilliant array of vibrant colors: sapphire blue, hunter green, shell pink, carnation pink, plum, charcoal and pale peach.  The garden of motifs continues throughout the raspberry open field in the same stunning colors, and the small flowers, lattice motifs and stars will keep you engaged for hours. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The border is another wonderful feature of this runner - a thick ivory stripe resplendent with a geometric floral and vine motif.
