This is a stunning handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner in mint condition.   The color palette is a harmonious combination of watermelon, lilac and plum.   The intricate tribal and floral details surround a striking central medallion, a large ivory diamond that pops from the watermelon backdrop.   This medallion has a plum and shell pink flower at the center, which radiates in petals and other small flowers hand-knotted in cerise pink, lemonade pink and lilac.  The garden of motifs continues throughout the watermelon open field in the same stunning colors, and the small flowers, lattice motifs and stars will keep you engaged for hours. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The border is another wonderful feature of this runner - a thick ivory stripe resplendent with a geometric floral and vine motif.
