This vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner has a spectacular color way -- a lush midnight blue with pink and red coral accents in an allover tribal & floral design. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition. Handmade of fine quality wool, this village-made tribal runner has a soft and sturdy, dense thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations. The intricate repeating geometric and floral motifs in luminous shades of pink coral, azure blue, teal, ivory, emerald green, silver, khaki and countless other colors shift slowly across the length of the runner for a slightly ombre effect. The colors are all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This beautiful pattern is framed by a light khaki border with repeating geometric motifs in the same beautiful colors of the rug, forming tribal flowers on the vine. This is in turn framed by red coral thin rows of colorful chevrons and wave like motifs. This runner is luxurious in its look and feel. Size: 3'7"x13'3"
