This fine quality handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral design with details you can get lost in. It is in mint condition, handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is a merlot diamond with a steel blue and ivory flower with small flowers of silver and burgundy, rose, gold and midnight blue.  The runner is a deep midnight blue with intricate floral and tribal details in all the colors of the medallion. The lattice-like allover pattern is hand-knotted in silver, merlot and pink coral, with tiny accents of flowers and other motifs throughout in all of these colors. The ivory corners and border lighten and brighten the rug with a complementary floral and vine design in a larger geometric pattern, echoing the beautiful color palette of the runner, with colors such as sapphire and gold popping against the ivory.  The ivory frame is in turn bordered by burgundy rows with small garlands of colorful shapes.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
