This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral design in a beautiful and rich color palette of navy blue with shades of cranberry, pink and gray accents. The blue appears almost purple against the cranberry.  It is in mint condition, handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The central medallion is a cranberry diamond with flower of indigo and intricate flowers in silver, lemonade pink, plum, gold and white.  These are the colors that continue throughout the runner, creating intricate floral and tribal details around a pink and silver lattice-like pattern on a background of navy blue. The ivory corners, accents and border lighten and brighten the runner, and their complementary tribal flower bouquets echo the medallion.  The beautiful border is a special feature of the runner, an ivory row filled with a beautiful and elegant floral and vine motif in all the colors of the rug, surrounded by plum rows of tiny colorful small shapes.  Size: 3'7"x10'8"
