This is a vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner with stunning colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Its tribal, intricate geometric allover design with colorful small floral details in lattice-like and nomadic motifs is a hallmark of rugs from this region. The full soft pile and sturdy village weave is great for high traffic areas and this runner will last generations. The runner is hand-knotted in watermelon red with charcoal and silver lattice-like motifs with intricate details in carnation pink, shell pink, peach, plum and white. The border and corners are ivory, which lightens and brightens the rug. These are decorated with charming flower and vine motifs in the same colors of the rug.
