This handmade fine quality vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an allover tribal and geometric intricate design. It is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The dramatic black background provides an elegant setting for the intricate allover geometric design hand-knotted with a trellis-like pattern in carnation and rose pink.  This provides a loose framework for tiny tribal flowers and other motifs in shades of pink along with camel, burgundy, charcoal, pale yellow and bright white. The red corners  have peach, white and pink flowers and lead to the border, a special addition to the rug's beauty. The  border has its own larger geometric design resembling geometric flowers on the vine on an ivory backdrop which lightens and brightens the runner.  The geometric flowers are hand-knotted in all the colors of the runner, and are in turn framed by thin rows of charming tiny flowers and wave motifs.
