This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with spectacular colors, fine quality wool and expert craftsmanship.  It has a soft, full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The intricate tribal and floral design has a beautiful flower diamond medallion as its focal point with a pomegranate backdrop against which the shades of bubble gum pink, silver, mocha, ivory, and orange really pop.  The  backdrop of the runner is violet blue, appearing almost purple against the pink.  This is a striking canvas filled to the brim with pattern and color in the same shades of pink, silver , ivory and orange.  The pink corners echo the medallion with tribal floral and vine patterns.  The ivory border brightens and lightens the runner, and its charming geometric floral and vine garland adds another layer of depth to the rug. The border is surrounded by thin rows of pink and gray, their own charming small repeating motifs adding decorative elements to the very edge. Size: 3'8"x10'2"
