This vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner has an allover design and a spectacular color way -- a lush violet blue with ruby pink, lemonade pink and periwinkle blue accents in an allover tribal & floral pattern.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition.  Made of fine quality wool, this village-made tribal rug has a soft and sturdy pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The repeating geometric and floral motifs in shades of pink, blue and white against the violet/blueberry backdrop create an intricate allover design. The four ivory corners lighten and brighten the runner, and the charming small pink birds with Tiffany blue surrounding motifs in each corner add a special decorative detail. This leads to the border, a stunning frame of geometric flowers on the vine in all the beautiful colors of the rug, all of which are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.  Size: 3'10"x9'7"
