This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral allover design with charming details and beautiful colors. Handmade in the 1980s, the rug still has a soft and sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The allover design is a geometric lattice-like pattern with highly detailed small floral and tribal motifs.  A deep midnight blue provides the backdrop for the lattice-like design adorned in abundant details in a beautiful array of rustic and rather subtle shades: silver, sand, white, heather gray, rosewood, charcoal, taupe, plum, peach, shell pink, mauve and countless other colors.  The white border lightens and brightens the rug, picking up on the white accents and showcases the lovely accent colors with a larger floral and vine pattern, framed by thin rows of rosewood with garlands in all the colors of the runner.   All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This runner is in mint condition.
