This handmade fine quality vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an allover tribal and geometric intricate design. It is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The background is a rich, deep midnight blue and the intricate allover geometric design is hand-knotted with a trellis-like pattern that provides a loose framework for tiny tribal flowers and other motifs in shades of pink and gray, from cerise pink, carnation pink and shell pink to charcoal and silver, with additional accents in orange, khaki, walnut, and bright white. The border and the corners are a special addition to the rug's beauty. The corners resemble parts of a tribal flower and the border has its own larger geometric design resembling tribal flowers on the vine in all the colors of the runner, framed by thin rosewood rows of charming tiny flowers.
