This fine quality vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner was handmade with an allover tribal design full of intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and color.  The runner is made of fine quality wool that is great for high traffic areas (hallways, kitchens, mud rooms, entryways...) and will continue to last generations.   The black background is an elegant setting for the highly detailed accents and geometric motifs that are hand-knotted in rustic colors with white accents that really pop against the ebony backdrop. Charcoal, coral, eggplant, tangerine, taupe, orange and silver fill the runner with tiny floral and geometric motifs that harmonize beautifully.  The border is particularly charming. A white frame that lightens & brightens the runner and accentuates the white accents in the rug is adorned with a repeating tribal flower on the vine design in charcoal, coral, silver and black, surrounded by thin rows of repeating wave like motifs in all the colors of the rug.
