This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is fine quality, made by expert tribal weavers with quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. The allover tribal and geometric highly detailed design fills the runner with stunning and unique pastels colors and tribal flower patterns.  It is in mint condition, made with a notably dense, thick and soft pile that can withstand high traffic, is cushy underfoot and will continue to last for generations.  The black backdrop is a dramatic setting for the beautiful pastel colors in every shade of the rainbow, accented with white so they really pop from the ebony background.  The repeating design of small flowers, diamonds and other motifs is hand-knotted in an amazing array of colors: shell pink, sky blue, lemonade pink, mauve, tangerine, pale mint green, fern green, indigo blue, lime green, emerald green, turquoise, gold, sapphire, purple, powder blue, burgundy, hunter green and countless other shades.  The border is an ivory frame with an elegant garland of larger flowers on the vine in the same wonderful colors of the rug, itself surrounded by thin rows of plum and purple with tiy charmming flowers on the vine and other colorful small repeating motifs.  Size: 3'7"x9'6"
