This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is very fine quality, made by expert tribal weavers with fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. The allover tribal and geometric intricate design is hand-knotted in spectacular colors, predominantly red, pink and blue for an overall effect of purple from certain angles.  It is in mint condition, made with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The backdrop is watermelon red, with sapphire blue repeating lattice-like shapes that create a frame for the charming geometric motifs and tribal flowers that adorn this striking runner.  The details unfold in vibrant rich shades of carnation pink and ballet slipper pink, royal blue, lavender, midnight blue and taupe, punctuated by bright white.  The border is a special feature of this runner with a charming repeating geometric flower and plant motif in all the colors of the rug on a ribbon of rich royal blue. Great for big kitchens and bedrooms, children's rooms, and of course long hallways!
