This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is very fine quality, made by expert tribal weavers with fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. The allover tribal and geometric intricate design is hand-knotted in spectacular colors, predominantly red and blue for an overall effect of purple from afar.  It is in mint condition, made with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The backdrop is cherry red, with royal blue repeating lattice-like shapes that create a frame for the charming geometric motifs and tribal flowers that adorn this striking runner.  The details unfold in vibrant rich shades of pink and blue: sky blue, ballet slipper pink, indigo, midnight blue and carnation pink, punctuated by bright white.  The border is a special feature of this runner, a series of repeating colorful small geometric star-like motifs in pinks and blues on a pale peach backdrop, framed by thin red rows of pink and blue and red ribbons.  Great for kitchens, bedrooms, children's rooms, and of course long hallways!
