This runner has abrash, or the natural variation in color that occurs uniquely in handmade vintage vegetable dye rugs, which gives it character with some of its muted yet vibrant tones. The central medallion is a diamond of spring flowers in lime green, pale turquoise, pink, rust and copper on an ivory backdrop. The dominant color is a rustic burgundy and the intricate geometric and floral details in a striking array of muted colors - ivory, walnut, taupe, mint green, sky blue, lavender, steel blue,orange and countless other colors . The borders are thin ribbons of neutral shades of walnut and parchment with charming small floral details.
