This handmade fine quality vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an allover tribal and geometric intricate design with spectacular colors.  It is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s.  The background is a rich royal blue, a perfect contrast for the colorful lattice-like design that provides the frame for the small flowers and other motifs that adorn this striking runner.  The details unfold in vibrant shades of orange, bright pink, pale yellow, azure blue, sapphire blue, taupe, mint green, plum and countless other colors, all punctuated by bright white for a dramatic effect.  These colorful tribal accents continue in the rich candy apple red corners and the fantastic border, an ivory ribbon of beautiful larger geometric flower and vine repeating motifs, using all the colors of the rug.
