This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is fine quality, made by expert tribal weavers with quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. The allover tribal and geometric highly detailed design fills the runner with color and pattern, hand-knotted in spectacular colors.  It is in mint condition, made with a full, sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The backdrop is a soft strawberry red, with a repeating lattice-like framework in emerald green and spearmint, adorned by charming geometric motifs and tribal flowers.  The details unfold in vibrant rich shades of turquoise, sea green, teal, lavender, camel, ivory, shell pink, white, aquamarine, azure blue lemonade pink and countless others.  The ivory corners and border are special features of this runner, lightening and brightening the rug and providing a showcase for its brilliant colors against the light ivory. The corners have a floral design with a spectacular teal/turquoise blue along with pink and red, while the border uses all of the colors of the rug to create a repeating geometric motif on the ivory frame, itself surrounded by thin rows of tiny colorful tribal paisleys known as botehs, and a final edge of pink and sapphire.  Great for big kitchens, foyers and hallways, bedrooms, children's rooms, and any high traffic areas that are calling out for color.  Size: 4'3"x9'9"
