This vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner has a rich, autumnal color palette on a midnight blue backdrop. The allover tribal & floral oriental design is a hallmark of rugs from the Hamedan region where this rug was made. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition. Made of fine quality wool, the rug has an extremely soft, supple and thick pile that is heavenly underfoot, great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The repeating geometric and floral motifs are densely woven in a lattice-like pattern, in vivid and rich shades of coral, rust, walnut, auburn, sapphire blue, turquoise, gold, dusty rose, pale yellow and ivory, framed by ribbons of olive green and rust with colorful tribal flowers and charming designs dancing throughout. All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes. Size: 4'x9'10"
