This handmade vintage blue Persian Hosseinabad is a tribal and floral runner,  hand-knotted in the 1980s and in mint condition.  The allover geometric design pops on a midnight blue background in sapphire blue, white, pale pink, chocolate, cherry red, copper and orange.  Delicate tribal details and flowers become more and more apparent as you get closer to the rug, filling the runner with pattern and color.  A white ribbon of geometric designs frames and lightens the rug as its border, surrounded by rows of charming small flowers.  Colors are all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The runner has areas of abrash if you look closely - the natural variation in dyes that only occurs in handmade vintage rugs that use natural dyes. This runner is handmade with a soft full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'7"x10'2"
