This is a vintage handmade Persian Hosseinabad runner in mint condition.  Its tribal and geometric allover design has brilliant colors and intricate details in lattice-like and nomadic motifs.  Hand-knotted in the 1990's, this rug is in mint condition.  The full, thick, plush and soft pile is made with a sturdy village weave that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last for generations.   The bright strawberry red backdrop hosts emerald green & black lattice-like patterns surrounded by intricate details in jewel tones that seem to pop off the rug -  sapphire, royal blue, white, shell pink, carnation pink, purple, lime green, lavender and countless other vivid colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The charming border lightens the rug with an ivory ribbon full of colorful tribal flowers on the vine, surrounded by a royal blue frame with a pink and green ribbon on one side and a green garland before the final white line on the other.  Size: 2'5"x9'5"
