This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad has an intricate tribal and geometric design that revolves around a bold central medallion with matching corners.  The rug is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s by expert tribal weavers using fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. It has the unique ombre effect that that comes from variation in the vegetable and other natural dyes.  The beautiful background color slowly shifts from cerise pink to pink coral to salmon to peach, depending on the light.  The central medallion is the floral heart of the rug in an elegant shade of pale salmon pink and ivory, with silver and milk chocolate accents, surrounded by deep midnight blue.  These colors continue as accent colors for the rug's details and intricate geometric and tribal flower shapes that adorn a lattice-like pattern that slowly shifts from taupe to olive green.  The midnight blue corners mirror the medallion with their own tribal flower designs, and lead right into the inky midnight blue border with its own tribal flower and vine repeating pattern in all of the rug's colors. This is surrounded by thin rose pink rows of white and chocolate small circles, leading into a taupe ribbon of small charming flowers on the vine in shades of pink and ivory.  This rug is handmade with a full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 5'4"x10'5"
