Yellow Flowers

This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad rug has an intricate tribal and geometric design that revolves around a delicate central medallion.  The rug is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s by expert tribal weavers using fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes. It has the unique patina that only comes from vintage handmade rugs that use natural dyes, and the beautiful background color seems to shift from pink coral to peach to pink, depending on the light.  The central medallion is the heart of the rug in an elegant shade of champagne ivory with a highly detailed flower-like pattern in pink coral, with teal, peach, lavender, dusty rose, silver, rosewood and sea green accents. These colors are the main accent colors of the rug's details and intricate geometric and tribal flower shapes that adorn a lattice-like pattern in sea green.  The champagne ivory corners mirror the medallion with their own tribal flower designs, and lighten and brighten the rug.  The ribbons of border add yet another layer of intrigue and pattern, along with complementary floral and tribal details A series of rows of lavender and pink coral with colorful small garlands and flowers frame a dramatic black border of geometric designs in all the colors of the rug.  This rug is handmade with a full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
