This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner has an intricate tribal and floral design with a beautiful central medallion. The rug is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with a full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is the floral heart of the rug, resplendent with its jewel tone petals of sapphire, watermelon pink, ballet slipper pink, purple, peach and silver all on an ivory backdrop and outlined in azure blue. These colors are the main accent colors of the rug's intricate trellis-like details and geometric shapes, adding countless additional colors to the mix: burgundy, charcoal, cocoa, orange, just to name a few. All of these details rest on a rich watermelon/fruit punch colored backdrop.
