This is a very fine quality and stunning handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner. It has an intricate tribal and floral allover design with extraordinary details, charming small floral accents and truly gorgeous colors. It is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with a soft and sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The allover design is a geometric lattice-like pattern with highly detailed small floral and tribal motifs.  Warm strawberry red is a beautiful backdrop for the lattice-like design in bright sapphire, adorned in abundant details in beautiful shades of pale sky blue, violet, ballet slipper pink, royal blue, white, burgundy, champagne and countless other colors.  The complementary border has a larger floral and vine motif in the same vibrant colors, framed by thin rows of charming colorful circles, like two necklaces around the rug.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Size: 3'5"x9'8"
