This unique antique Persian Heriz was handwoven using double knots which makes for a sturdy, heavy rug that can withstand high traffic and will last a lifetime. The rug was handmade in the 1960's and is in mint condition. The brilliant color palette, all made from vegetable and other natural dyes, is a rich pomegranate red with accents of midnight and cornflower blue, rose, ivory, maroon and pea-shoot green. The central medallions are unique in design and their intricate details are remarkable considering the thickness of the weave. Size: 8'2"x11'4"
