This is a stunning tribal Persian Heriz in mint condition with intricate geometric details and beautiful, rich colors. This rug was handmade in the 1980's in a classic design with a prominent central medallion that is a hallmark of Heriz rugs.  What brings this rug to life is the incredible array of intricate details and the remarkable colors that harmonize so beautifully throughout. Each layer is resplendent with vivid colors that dance in tribal patterns and intricate geometric motifs. The tribal flower center is white, royal blue, fruit punch, midnight blue, olive green, cherry red, mint green, ballet slipper pink and countless other colors. This leads to a cherry red layer with all of the same colors as detailed parts of the design, surrounded by white corners that lighten and brighten the rug and perhaps show off the beautiful colors best, before the final midnight blue border, framed by olive green rows of pink, red and white charming small flowers.  The border has its own larger format geometric/floral motifs in the same brilliant colors of the rug, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Great for high traffic, this rug has a very soft and full, thick, plush sturdy pile that is soft underfoot and will last generations.
