This extremely fine quality vintage handmade Persian Heriz has spectacular tribal details and brilliant colors. It was handmade in the 1950's by expert tribal weavers and it is in mint condition. The classic geometric design, a hallmark of rugs from this region, revolves around a prominent central medallion with intricate details and accents radiating outward around it.   The intricate tribal motifs fill the carpet with pattern and the most amazing colors.  Royal blue, coral, cranberry, ivory, sky blue, midnight blue, rose, carnation pink, pale yellow and countless other muted and elegant shades harmonize beautifully, and are all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The border has its own unique larger format tribal floral and vine motif in the same brilliant colors on a royal blue backdrop. The ivory corners lighten and brighten the rug and provide a striking contrast to the corals and blues.
