This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has an intricate tribal and floral design in a gorgeous  color palette of saturated jewel tones. It is slightly irregular in that one end was cut before the border's edge (see last photo), but the runner is perfectly intact and in mint condition, handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is an ivory diamond with a flower and petals of violet blue, fern green, magenta, fruit punch and ivory.  These are the colors that continue throughout the runner, creating intricate floral and tribal details around a lattice-like pattern, all on a background of brilliant magenta.  Additional colors that add to the design are orange and walnut.  The ivory border and corners lighten and brighten the runner and mirror the medallion with repeating geometric motifs that resemble flowers on the vine, all hand-knotted in the same brilliant colors. This runner's slight irregularity adds to its authenticity as a one of a kind handmade piece, and also makes it a great bargain!  Size: 3'5"x9'10"
