This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and has slight color running in some areas. The rug's intricate floral sprays and bouquet patterns revolve around a delicate central floral medallion, all of which is framed by colorful ribbons of repeating geometric shapes and charming flowers. The backdrop is scarlet red and the accents and flowers are hand-knotted with pops of color in the most fantastic array of colors - coral, pink, hunter green, pale orange, turquoise, sea green, sapphire, royal blue, fern, taupe, copper, bright orange, mint green, chocolate, midnight blue, watermelon and countless other colors. This runner is handmade with a full, soft and supple pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The color running appears primarily in the corner and some of the red open field (see photos). It is subtle and not very noticeable and makes this runner a great bargain price! Size: 3'5"x9'9"
