This vintage handmade Persian Hamedan runner has a spectacular color way -- a lush violet blue with ballet slipper pink, coral and azure blue accents in an allover tribal & floral design.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner has some very minor binding distress (see last photo), and is otherwise in perfect condition.  Handmade of fine quality wool, this village-made tribal runner has a soft and sturdy, thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The repeating geometric and floral motifs in coral, ivory, pale pink, rose, sea green and countless other colors against the violet/blueberry backdrop create an intricate allover design, framed by a border of beige and azure blue with repeating geometric flowers on the vine in the same beautiful colors.  All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.  The binding distress is hard to see and does not effect the integrity of the rug, which makes this runner a really great deal for such a large size!  Size: 4'8"x10'9"
