This fine quality vintage Persian Hamedan runner was handmade with a highly detailed allover floral and tribal design in finely knotted intricacies that fill the rug with small birds, flowers and other geometric motifs.  The pattern is inspired by Sarough Lilihan rugs. This runner is made with fine quality wool and a sturdy weave that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations. The colors of this runner are unique and hard to find, a lush jungle of flora and fauna in pinks and purples, bright greens and blues.  A lush salmon pink is the background for the highly detailed small floral and tribal and bird motifs hand-knotted in turquoise, pistachio, violet, azure blue, carnation pink, yellow, periwinkle blue, camel, lavender, coral, rosewood, purple and countless other colors. The white border lightens and brightens the runner, adding a beautiful complementary row of flowers on the vine in the same beautiful shades, framed by thin rows of colorful charming small flower-like motifs on the vine.  You can get lost in the details as you search for the small colorful birds that add even more charm to the pattern.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Size: 3'8"x8'8"
