This is a beautiful fine quality vintage Persian Hamedan runner, handmade in a tribal & geometric Koliai design with intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and intrigue.  The rug is made with fine quality wool that is sturdy and great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations.   The sapphire blue background is perfectly complimented by the highly detailed accents and geometric motifs that are hand-knotted in shades of pink and blue.  Three diamond medallions that grow increasingly larger as they progress down the center of the runner are hand-knotted in white and cerise pink with accents in sapphire and azure blue.  These same colors along with shell pink, carnation pink and rosewood pink fill the runner with intricate tribal flower and paisley motifs,  details that you can get lost in.  The complementary border is another striking feature, framing the rug with a series of geometric motifs that resemble hieroglyphics in all the shades of blue and pink on a white background, framed by cerise pink thin rows with blue and white charming small flowers on the vine.
