This knockout vintage handmade tribal Persian Hamedan runner has a classic geometric design with a row of three intricate medallions in exquisite detail and phenomenal and hard to find colors.   Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug was made with fine craftsmanship and a sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last generations.  Vivid and vibrant shades of purple, red and pink are all made from only vegetable dyes and they have the unique patina and abrash, or natural variation that you only find in vintage rugs handmade with natural dyes.  The background shifts between every shade of watermelon, from lighter pinks toward deeper shades approaching red. The finely detailed geometric medallions, known as 'guls', often represent natural elements such as lakes or mountains, and they are deep purple to lavender, filled with small and charming tribal designs in every shade of pink with white, gray and black accents.
