This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The rug's intricate floral designs revolve around an elegant black central medallion with colorful flower details throughout. The backdrop is a warm strawberry red and the beautiful tribal and flower details that fill the open field are hand-knotted with pops of color in royal blue, shell pink, carnation pink, mint green, bright white, taupe, burgundy and countless other colors. The runner is framed by ribbons of repeating small motifs -- an ivory row of flowers on the vine surrounded by black thin rows with fruit punch, green, pink and white polka dots. This runner is handmade with a full, soft and supple pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. It's narrow width makes it perfect for long hallways, kitchens, and other high traffic areas.
